CUSTOMER REVIEW

ABOUT THE PATTERN

This pattern has been lovingly re-digitized into its current format.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Please remember: historical patterns such as this one include much less instruction than modern commercial patterns. Designers of the time assumed that the average home seamstress already had the skills to:

  • Cut and construct garments without detailed steps

  • Add facings, linings, and trims based on her own knowledge

This means instructions may be minimal or entirely absent.

Important considerations:

  • These patterns run smaller than today’s sizing

  • They were intended to be worn with corsets and structured undergarments

  • Armholes tend to be tighter and smaller than modern garments

  • A fitting mock-up (toile) made from muslin or test fabric is strongly recommended

Patterns are reproduced exactly from the original source, preserving their historical accuracy. Some sewing experience and comfort with vintage patterns is highly recommended.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND

This is an authentic replication of an antique pattern. It may retain original errors or inconsistencies in formatting. While I’ve tested some of these patterns, I have not made up every single one—so I cannot guarantee perfect fit or construction.

Always make a mock-up in scrap fabric before cutting your final materials.
