IMPORTANT NOTE

A solid understanding of vintage garment construction is strongly recommended.

The original source material for this pattern offers much less information than patterns from the 1920s and 1930s. At the time, pattern makers assumed that home seamstresses already possessed the necessary skills to complete a garment without detailed directions.

As such:

  • Instructions for facings, linings, and trims may be minimal or missing.

  • Yardage and size details are often incomplete or missing entirely.

  • Armholes in particular tend to be tighter than those in modern garments.

  • The pattern assumes that proper undergarments and corsetry will be worn underneath.

These patterns run small by modern sizing standards.
It is essential to create a fitting mock-up (toile) in muslin or other test fabric to make necessary adjustments to your individual figure before cutting your fashion fabric.

Patterns are reproduced exactly from the original sources with no alterations to preserve historical accuracy.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND

This is an exact copy of the original vintage pattern and may include original formatting errors or miscalculations. While I have personally tested some of these patterns, I have not tested them all and cannot guarantee a perfect fit.

As with all garment construction, it is best to make a mock-up before using your final fabric.
