This replicated pattern is sized to fit a 26-inch waist. It features a classic three-piece skirt design: circular at the back and sides, with a narrow front gore and a flat top without fullness—ideal for checks or plain fabrics. The skirt secures at the center back with hooks and eyes and has an attached waistband.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
-
Original Recommendation: 4 yards of 44-inch wide fabric

IMPORTANT NOTE
These early patterns contain far less instruction than modern patterns from the 1920s and 1930s. Publishers of that era presumed the home seamstress had the skills needed to construct garments without detailed directions.
That means:
-
Facings, linings, and trims are often missing or only vaguely suggested.
-
These garments were designed to be worn over corsets or proper undergarments, and may seem small by modern standards.
-
Making a muslin mock-up is absolutely essential to ensure proper fit.
Patterns are reproduced exactly as originally printed, with no modern alterations, in order to retain historical accuracy.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND
This is an exact replica of the original vintage pattern. It may retain any formatting errors or miscalculations native to the original. While I have sewn up several of these designs, I have not tested all of them and cannot guarantee their accuracy or fit.
As always, make a test garment (mock-up) in muslin or scrap fabric before cutting into your final material.
