This replicated pattern is sized for a 10 Year Old/approx. 28 inch chest (go by bust size not age)
This 1912 reproduction sewing pattern features a pinafore to slip over a dress. Labeled as 'Tablier de Court Pour Fillett' in La Mode Illustree, this coverup would be worn to protect a pretty dress from spills and ink. Pinafore has rounded neck and short flutter sleeves. Add trim or lace to dress it up, pinafore secures in back with cross over straps which can be adjusted to fit a slightly larger or smaller wearer. Optional ruffle can be added to the lower hem. SUGGESTED MATERIALS: Cotton Sateen, plain or printed cottons, linen and twill, denim or light-weight woolens for more stable wear.

**PLEASE KEEP IN MIND**
This is an exact copy of the original vintage pattern and as such may retain any original errors or miscalculations in formatting native to the original pattern. While I have made up some of these patterns, I have not tested them all out and cannot attest to their accuracy or perfect fit. As with all garment construction, it is best to make a mock-up for fitting in test fabric prior to cutting and constructing with your final fashion fabric.
