This replicated pattern from 1929-30 is sized to fit a 22 inch head. "The latest Paris Hat - This snug, swagger little hat is the very smartest type you can wear with your sports or semi-formal costume. It is made in four simple sections, joined in zigzag outline. Pleats drape it cleverly at the sides, while a bow is perched cockily above the right ear."

Once I realized this, the hat went together so much easier. This off the forehead style may have been shown in Paris in 1929 but it is more 1930 US."
