1- "I love this pattern, it was really easy to use, I made the hat in about an hour. It is a little on the large size if you have a small head. I made the hat with felt which gave it a nice shape. I think it is very classy, there are so many ways you can embellish the hat, I used lace ribbon and a flower to add a final touch"
2- "This is a great 1920s quintessential flappers' cloche. Using the basic pattern you can trim it up anyway you like. I added a band around the crown and a large matching flower. I used some corduroy from my stash and lined it with a heavy satin, it looked marvelous. My tip for this would be to join the front sections together first, then join the back sections together (but separately from the first), then baste together the front and back sections to check the fit before finally sewing the seam from ear to ear. It looks much cleaner this way and saves having to attempt to get all the corners to come together."

While I have made up some of these patterns, I have not tested them all out and cannot attest to their accuracy or perfect fit. As with all garment construction, it is best to make a mock-up for fitting in test fabric prior to cutting and constructing with your final fashion fabric.
