Photo #5 shows this advertised in The Delineator Magazine, Autumn 1929.

See below for a review of this pattern (Thank you Motorharp):"Instructions pretty easy to follow, with the caveat it's a vintage pattern and pattern publishers assumed a lot of prior sewing knowledge when writing the instructions for the home sewer. There are some parts that are skimmed over - for example, I'm still not entirely sure what they wanted you to do with the front facing if you're lining it. However, there are few pieces so it does go together quickly. I like the tassels on the sleeves and front collar - it gives the robe a nice weight. The sleeves are a little shorter than indicated on the pattern envelope. I would make them a few inches longer if I made this again. For my kimono, I used velvet for the body and silk charmeuse for the sleeves, collar and lining."

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND
This is an exact copy of the original vintage pattern and as such may retain any original errors or miscalculations in formatting native to the original pattern. While I have made up some of these patterns, I have not tested them all out and cannot attest to their accuracy or perfect fit. As with all garment construction, it is best to make a mock-up for fitting in test fabric prior to cutting and constructing with your final fashion fabric.

This pattern arrived so quickly! I'm going to use a printed cotton sari as the fabric; I'll post a picture when finished. This robe is almost identical to one Lady Mary wore on Downton Abbey, when Anna was arrested.
