This replicated pattern is sized to fit a 40 inch bust.
From 1927, "The new materials in fanciful patterns - conservative and futuristic designs - make attractive frocks when copied from this pattern. Its slim straight lines are broke below the hips with a graceful, flaring skirt, circular in design, attached to the long-waisted body. Drooping shoulders that form abbreviated sleeves may be lengthened with long sleeves gathered into wristbands. The fronts of the waist are open from the neck to top of skirt and close by means of a ribbon tie with long ends. A smart collar finishes then neck; it rolls with the front, forming revers (lapels). While I have made up some of these patterns, I have not tested them all out and cannot attest to their accuracy or perfect fit. As with all garment construction, it is best to make a mock-up for fitting in test fabric prior to cutting and constructing with your final fashion fabric.
