This 1929 reproduction sewing pattern features a slip-over blouse that can be made with long straight sleeves, long cuffed sleeves or finished as a sleeveless top. Nine tiny pleats shape the back, the V-front is shirred at center and secures with a tie. Sides seams have a gently plait to give it a snugger hip. Original pattern recommends cottons and crepes but the pull-over style may be more suitable made up in a jersey, knit, or other fabric with a bit of give. This was featured in Butterick Quarterly, Winter, 1929. Suggested Fabrics: Cottons, Georgette, Crepe, Satin, Silk, Jersey, Velvet, Light-weight wool.
