Print only the size necessary for your location. Pattern sheets will need to taped together, but once assembled, pieces are full sized and ready to use.

Sized to fit a 21 - 22-1/2 inch head, this 1929 reproduction sewing pattern features a cloche hat - as per the original description "Smart off the face model is becoming in style and so absolutely simple to make. It can be appropriately made up in any desired soft hat materials."

The original pattern was created by McCall in 1929 and due to popularity, it was still advertised in McCall Style News, January 1930 (photo #3), and again it appeared in the store catalog of April 1930 (photo #2).

As with all garment construction, it is best to make a mock-up for fitting in test fabric prior to cutting and constructing with your final fashion fabric.

This pattern is great! It turned out just...

This pattern is great! It turned out just like the photographs and there are instructions on how to put it together step by step.
Two things to note when making it is,
Check the diagram that shows all the pattern pieces included in this pattern to know their correct names.
Though it might be different depending on the fabric, for me, using -larger- gathers got it to look more like the photos.
