This PDF is for a 1920s reproduction transfer pattern consisting of an all-over design for beading or embroidering a blouse or other garment. This pattern can be traced out and includes neckline edge designs as well as a front and/or back bodice design. No pattern is provided for an actual garment - just the pine needle design to transfer to your desired ensemble. It can be adjusted for use on a blouse or a long 'flapper style' dress by elongating or repeating the long wisps of pine.
** This is NOT a heat transfer pattern. Design will need to be transferred to your chosen fabric with chalk, marking pen, dressmaker's carbon or other suitable means **
This Home Pattern from Ladies Home Journal was originally created by Dec. 30, 1929 and has been re-digitized into it's current format. All content falls under the copyright www.BeespokeVintagePatterns.com 2006, and as such, no portion of this pattern may be photocopied or reproduced by any means without written consent.
Our patterns include seam allowances, grain lines and updated text for ease of construction. Patterns are reproduced directly from the original source material, with no changes in order to retain the historical accuracy of the pattern. Prior sewing experience and knowledge of working with vintage patterns is recommended.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND This is an exact copy of the original vintage pattern and as such may retain any original errors or miscalculations in formatting native to the original pattern. While I have made up some of these patterns, I have not tested them all out and cannot attest to their accuracy or perfect fit. As with all garment construction, it is best to make a mock-up for fitting in test fabric prior to cutting and constructing with your final fashion fabric. NOT YOUR SIZE?
