Per Vintage Seamstress Specialist - "I made this dress in the sleeveless style in a tan crepe. The dress was not easy but went together well. The most difficult part was the belt! With over-the-elbow gloves, the dress was very sophisticated. However, were I to make the dress again, I would make it in a prettier color and a softer fabric to maximize the drape of the skirt. I would not make it in black as shown because the unusual seam lines of the skirt would be lost."
