This replicated pattern is sized to fit a 36 inch bust / 39 inch hip. From 1936 - "Misses' and Women's Afternoon Dress. For a simple yet attractive frock, Style 1 is the ideal choice with its unique sleeve which is in one with the shirred front blouse. A soft high collar trims the neck and a tapering panel distinguishes the skirt. Style 2 cuts the short sleeves in on with the yoke and adds shirring for blouse fullness." Dress in photo 2 was made using View 2. Designed as a dress, creating the skirt in a wool pinstripe and the bodice in a handkerchief linen gives it a two-piece look. Although not shown in photo, pressing the skirt center panel inward as a pleat, would give this more of a crisp, business vibe. Purchased scarf and belt are shown. **PLEASE KEEP IN MIND**

This is an exact copy of the original vintage pattern and as such may retain any original errors or miscalculations in formatting native to the original pattern.  While I have made up some of these patterns, I have not tested them all out and cannot attest to their accuracy or perfect fit.  As with all garment construction, it is best to make a mock-up for fitting in test fabric prior to cutting and constructing with your final fashion fabric.
