This 1938 reproduction sewing pattern features a Misses' and women's dress, utterly feminine and lovely, this dress has the soft gathered bodice and snug waist yoke that is so good for the figure. The neckline is a low V; skirt is slightly flared. Style 1 has buttons and a sash trimming the yoke, long sleeves. Style 2 has short sleeves and is shown with an optional belt. See below for a review of this pattern: "The sleeves on this frock were a dream to put in. I loved the darts in the sleeve head. All the points lined up and the instructions were very clear. Altogether a fun and remarkably easy pattern. I had a moment of panic doing the collar, but it's a very clever way to do a self facing. I didn't understand the little rabbit ear that formed the collar back because I had never encountered anything like it before. Once I joined the shoulder seams it was easy."
