For my latest version, being in a hurry for a Carmen Miranda costume, I used the sleeve pattern pieces and sewed them to an existing blouse. That coupled with the fact that the model wearing the outfit was 85 years old - I certainly didn't want to make a midriff revealing top. It was a big sensation at the event - LOVE those sleeves."
