Beautiful pattern. Lots of sewing work tho...

Beautiful pattern. Lots of sewing work though, but we'll worth the time spent.
I needed a more casual dress for now, to wear with tights and boots, so I shortened the skirt part and moved the ruffles closer together. I also made the sleeves longer.
I find it easier to have a seam to sew the ruffles on then a chalk-line drawn on the underskirt. I cut the underskirt pattern where each ruffle goes on and added seam allowance. This way I know it will be in the right place without tailor tucks and without moving around.
This pattern will go through many changes as all pattern do. I love it a lot, thank you!
