SUGGESTED MATERIALS: Crepe de Chine, Silk Crepe, Satin, Ninon, Handkerchief Linen, Batiste, Rayon, Bemberg SLIP AND PANTIE AS SHOWN: 39 Inch Wide Material With Nap 3 Yards See below for a review of this pattern: "This slip only has two basic pieces, a front and a back, plus two straps, so this would be a great place to start if you are a little wary of vintage patterns! VPLL has added very clear markings and I love that I can make my own slips in whatever color and fabric I like. I purchased a beautiful slip at a warehouse sale - I loved the fabric and the price was right, but the fit was bizarre. So I took it apart and made myself a slip using this pattern for a MUCH BETTER Fit! The pattern does not suggest a specific way to finish the neckline. For my version, I used a self-fabric bias binding to encase the edges. I also hand rolled the hem. I love this pattern, and will probably make a few more" This Hollywood/Claire Dodd pattern was originally created by Dec. 30, 1939 and has been re-digitized into it's current format.
