Just follow the directions and voila. I made A and C today and they are so adorable. No fitting problems with either." 2) "I made 3 of these hat styles and it could not have been any easier. View B is loose fitting and would need to be shaped at the headband with milliners wire. 3) "Schiaparelli Madcap - I did A in a teal faux Persian lamb which is a knock-off of the madcap which was a famous fad of Schiaparelli's. I actually used a little horsehair interfacing for the top point. I have since spotted this pattern in a 1934 magazine where they recommended it for teens and women in their twenties. Most easy to make." This Companion pattern was originally created by Dec. 30, 1939 and has been re-digitized into it's current format.
