SUGGESTED MATERIALS: Light weight woolens, linens, heavy cotton, duck or twill DRESS AS SHOWN: 39 Inch Wide Material - Without Nap 3-1/8 Yards JACKET AS SHOWN: 39 Inch Wide Material - Without Nap 1-5/8 Yards See below for a review of this pattern: 'I made the Ladies' sport dress to wear all the time, and also wore it to the Gatsby in Oakland one year. I altered it a bit - instead of buttons in the back, I did a zipper (I know it's not period correct!), and I shortened the skirt a little bit. I made the dress from a brown pinstripe linen blend, and it was very easy to put together, very straightforward, and looked really great on. I want to make it again, now that I'm more familiar with the pattern, with the little jacket as well. I definitely recommend the pattern for beginners and up. All the pieces were easy to assemble, and the instructions were very clear.' This duBarry pattern was originally created by Dec. 30, 1939 and has been re-digitized into it's current format.
