This replicated pattern is sized to fit a 34 inch bust, 37 inch hip. Pattern description: Ladies 1936 dress having square neckline with optional front pockets. Dress is sleeveless and has center front and center back kick pleats in skirt. Jacket is waist length with double-breasted front and lapels. SUGGESTED MATERIALS: Light weight woolens, linens, heavy cotton, duck or twill DRESS AS SHOWN: 39 Inch Wide Material - Without Nap 3-1/8 Yards JACKET AS SHOWN: 39 Inch Wide Material - Without Nap 1-5/8 Yards See below for a review of this pattern: 'I made the Ladies' sport dress to wear all the time, and also wore it to the Gatsby in Oakland one year. I altered it a bit - instead of buttons in the back, I did a zipper (I know it's not period correct!), and I shortened the skirt a little bit. I made the dress from a brown pinstripe linen blend, and it was very easy to put together, very straightforward, and looked really great on. I want to make it again, now that I'm more familiar with the pattern, with the little jacket as well. I definitely recommend the pattern for beginners and up.
